Illinois State University is located in Normal, Illinois. Many students come from different places, whether it be Chicago, Joliet, Peoria or other places. They always have the opportunity to go back home or to travel around the world. There is an Amtrak train station located in uptown normal. Uptown normal is located about 8-10 minutes away from campus.
